Black & White

When I'm tired of bright colors I just go back for the basic black & white. For this outfit I paired a pair of wide-leg trousers with a off shoulder frill top. This outfit is a bit formal with a touch of feminine and sexy. I love how wide-leg trousers can visually add a few cm and make you look taller. The perfect way to cheat. I bought these trousers a couple of months ago but never had a chance to wear them. The reason is when I saw them I had to have them but I had no idea how to style them so they look more casual a not so much office-like. So when I recently purchased this top I thought I would get back to my trousers and try putting them together. This is the result, hope you like it.

Brighter than the sun

My most favorite pieces for spring and summer are maxi and midi skirts. This skirt I purchased on Asos and if you read my blog, I have mention it before on my wish list for the summer. I love the skirt so much I had to purchase 3 of them in different colors (red, yellow, black). Before this summer I didn't take risks in my outfits regarding colors. I mostly wore black & white, grey, beige and sometimes a bit of light pink. But I have decided to change that and be more creative with the colors so I have purched a bunch of new clothes for this summer, changing 80% of my wardrobe. And yellow is my new favorite color for this season.

This might be off the topic but I have recently watch Dawn of the planet of the Apes. I didn't expect much since I watched the first one and it didn't get me really excited to see how it continues. However I was really impressed and really enjoyed it I had to go watch it twice. The think I like more in this movie than other action movies is the fact that it contains so much emotion. The fact that a family of apes can be so protective of each other got me thinking. Such a sweet movie, I definitely recommend.

Lace shorts & gladiator sandals

So my boyfriend came to London to visit me a couple of days ago so I looked for a few nice places to visit with him. He isn't so much into museums but more into open spaces. So to take a full advantage of the nice weather we went to London City Hall where they have a huge park near the river with a view to Tower Bridge. I'm not so much of an explorer so I don't like to walk around to find nice places to see. That is maybe the main reason why I don't know much about London even though I have lived here for 4 years. However, I like to visit places and I'm very open to suggestions guys :)

More about my outfit; I have been looking for these lace shorts for so long and discovered them recently on They made of very light material so it's perfect for summer. I also love the summer flower prints. I paired the shorts with my favorite gladiator sandals from Quiz, they can give a very original touch to every outfit. Hope you like it.

This is photoshoot that I took a while ago but never published. The reason is because I wasn't quite satisfied with how the outfit looks on the pictures and picture quantity was also limited. But I thought I would share it with you with a quick outfit post anyway. Hope you like it :)
