March beauty reviews

I've heard so many good things about this mascara so I had to purchase it without any hesitation. It was a bit pricey and to be honest with you I was very disappointed. Like typical asian oriental lashes, mine are very thin and short. They also didn't have any curls whatsoever. The texture is very thick and it weighted my lashes down. It did a good job lengthening my lashes but I didn't see the point if my lashes were pointing downwards. Because the texture was thick, you could easily get clumps. I personally hated it but it might work for people with thicker lashes. I recommend purchasing the smaller size first.

I have recently purchased a M.A.C lipstick in shade "Unlimited". I personally don't like M.A.C lipsticks because I heard they really dry out your lips. But I was looking for a matte lipstick so I thought I would give it a try. I was really impressed, it was very pigmented and didn't dry my lips neither. Very light texture, the colour I chose was lovely and it literally last the whole day even after eating and drinking. I would definitely recommend and I'm sure I will purchase more in different shades.

I don't really have or know about haircare products. But because my hair was terribly bleached (yes, I was blonde) and damaged, I had to purchased something to get my hair back to normal. So I did some reseach and found this , and I quote "Overnight Treatment for Damage, Dry and Depleted Hair in Need of Intense Repair". It was pretty pricey, I got it for around £25 for 100 ml from To be honest, it did soften my hair but it wasn't amazing for that price. I think you can get other products that are half the price and they could do the same job. I will not be purchasing this again, but if money isn't the issue for you, I would recommend this product.

I have recently purchased this Revlon crayon lip balm/stain because I heard lip stains are suppose to last longer than lipsticks. I purchased it in shade 240 (Striking Spectaculair). The texture is really light and very balm-like. It doesn't dry out your lips, but the colour is not very pigmented (needs to be built up 2-3 times). It also lasted very long (around 6 hours) before you have to reapply. However, I might have purchased a wrong colour because I just feel like my face cannot pull off a red lipstick. I always look very clown-like. Apart from that I really like the product and will definitely purchase more in different shade.

I purchased this primer in shade 5 a while ago in Sephora in Prague. They have 7 shades in total and each of them were suppose to do something different (reduce redness, add radiance to your skin etc.). It says on their website that this primer deeply nourishes, moisturizes, and softens the skin. I didn't see any of that. It didn't soften my skin, nor moisturized it. For me it did nothing. For the price really not worth it.

Yves Saint Laurent the movie

Last week I had a chance to go watch the preview screening for Yves Saint Laurent the movie starring Pierre Niney and Guillaume Gallienne directed by Jalil Lesper. It will be available in cinemas in the UK March 21st.

Pierre Niney and Guillaume Gallienne

At the end of the screening we also had an Q&A session and got to see the director and the actors. We got to hear their thoughts and experience on the movie.
I personally didn't know much about YSL's life before I watched the movie so I found it very unpredictable and exciting.
I found the fact that they used the original YSL garments for the movie interesting and I also found the difference between catwalk nowadays and catwalk back then very exciting.

I really enjoyed the movie. It not only a great biography movie about a fashion genius, it's also a great drama about love, trust, sexuality, the transition of one's personality and how success had influenced them. If you love fashion or dramas, this movie is a must-watch.

Rock the wet look

For those who don't know me, I'm a total online shopping freak. I can spend days looking through online shopping websites. It feels like Christmas when they arrive and you get to unwrap them.
My favorite one is still Asos since you only pay around £9 for next day delivery for the whole year + free returns (pretty good deal huh?). So a week ago I was bored and purchased a bunch of new stuff from Asos since the weather is getting warmer and I needed new summer clothing (never enough clothes). Then I came across this cropped leather look jumper (Link right here). Surprisingly they were on sale, which I found very weird since they are very cute (or it's just me, I like everything that has the word "leather" in it). But oh well, the better for me. So I purchased it with approximately 20 other pieces of clothing and 2 pairs of flats. But obviously that wasn't enough for me so I had to go through all other websites to fulfill my online shopping desire. Then I came across this mini skirt on (Link right here) and I thought it would look great with my leather jumper, so why not :).

Let's see how they are paired together.

Drapy & Sunny

The weather in London have been so nice last few days. It has gone up to 16°C so I finally got to wear my F21 cutout booties. It was pretty hot so I have decided to go for something lightweight. So this top that I have purchased from Asos a while ago was perfect for me. I recommend using fashion double sided tape for these kind of tops and dresses, I'm sure you don't want to show everyone everything in public.

Okay, let's see the outfit :)

Non-Stop, Ride Along and my favorite checked shirt

So this weekend I went to the cinema with Lamin to watch Non-stop and Ride Along. If you like thrillers I would definitely recommend you go and watch Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson, he's my hero. It was very intense with alot of action ( maybe probably too much), but I really enjoyed it and I'm considering going and see it again.

About Ride Along... I think it is a good comedy, but it is not my type of humor so I can't say I enjoyed it as much. However, I'm sure there are people that will love it.

So I bought this pair of Jeffrey Campbell booties for my birthday last year but didn't have a chance to wear them yet. They are absolutelly beautiful. Pointed toe, textured leather, clear transparent back. They are pretty high(about 12cm= 4.75'') and veeeeery uncomfortable. I will probably have to buy some shoe insoles to wear them.

Seoul bakery and boyfriend's outfit.

So last weekend I went out for lunch with Lamin to this Korean place near Tottenham Court Road called "Seoul Bakery". This place is very tiny, cosy and doesn't have many tables. Even though it's  usually full and you usually will have to queue to get a table it's still one of my favorite places to eat.The food is very tasty and the price is very reasonable.

You can leave cute sticky notes with your names on :).

My favorites are beef and kimchi kimbaps (Korean sushi). Their kimchi pancakes are also to die for.

Cheese kimbap

2 rolls of kimbap (kimchi and beef) and kimchi pancakes behind. I don't look it but I eat alot :D

If you are looking for affordable, tasty food, this is the place for you.

My boyfriend is really skinny we basically can share clothes (even though they are his old clothes from years ago). I stole some of his shirts and hoodies and I love them. Loose fit and very comfortable.
